Natalie graduated Spring 2018 with a BA in Biblical Studies. Since graduating from BUF, Natalie has furthered her education and received a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. Currently, she is the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Cass County, Missouri. Natalie is married to former BUF graduate William Tuomey (2019).
How is your current work serving the purposes of God?
I seek to honor Christ and be a witness at work. Both my husband and I are very active in serving at our local church.
Do you feel that BUF prepared you for work in your field?
Absolutely! The education at BUF is second to none and provided me with the foundation necessary to succeed at Emory Law and graduate with honors. It also fostered a Biblical, Christ-centered worldview that impacts my work and life daily.
If you could give one piece of advice to current BUF students, what would you say?
Seek Christ in all you do, relax, and enjoy the journey. He will guide and direct your steps (Prov. 3:5-6).
